Moving and entertaining film staring Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep. Movng and powerful story and well worth watching.

When Carolyn and Michael are given the task of arranging their mother funeral they uncover a shocking secret which she took to the grave with her. She leaves them a letter explaining about a wonder 4 days she had when they were children and tells her not to think bad of her and to read her journals which explain it all. They start to read these journals and we get taken back to when the story started.

Allure, created in 1996 is one of the modern Chanels. Oriental. Vanillic. Woody. Allure is a multifaceted fragrance, with each facet different and ever beautiful.

I have this aunt who gave me a bottle of Chanel Allure. From that day on, the fragrance never failed to intrigue me. I am more or less a self made perfume expert but I have quite a difficulty creating an olfactory picture of Allure. Created by Jacques Polge in 1996, it seems to me that it was made to be a bottled complexity. It starts with a burst of citrus which is supposed to be its fresh-fruity-gourmand Facet. Calabrian citron and Mandarin make up this grand opening. Next comes the florals led by Jasmine, which is the signature floral note of Chanel. Jasmine gives it that timeless and elegant appeal. Magnolia, waterliy and honeysuckle provide more power to the floral facet of Allure making it more feminine and womanly.The final facet comes from Vanilla which renders it a bit woody, and musky and a bit soft around the edges as it lingers on the skin.

I was so excited when I came across CoverGirl Exact Eyelights Eye Brightening Mascara in Black Gold.

It's a new mascara made by CoverGirl that supposedly will bring out your particular eyecolor, and brighten the look of eyes as well.

There are numerous colors, and you can choose one based on your eye color. It states directly on the package which eye color the mascara was made for. Seeing that my eyes consistently change from green, hazel, and blue, I went with Black Gold because it was meant for hazel eyes, and it also seemed like the coolest color in the bunch.

I imagined Black Gold would feature a base color of black, with small subtle hints of micro flecked gold.

I don't normally wear mascara, but the whole thing just sounded so appealing, and fun!

At home though it was a whole other story. The color of the mascara was simply black! There was no hint of gold whatsoever. I felt really stupid for falling for such a package, and I had high hopes for it.

The mascara though clumped, was runny, did not thicken lashes, did not lengthen them, nor did it brighten my eye color. At all.

I was pretty disappointed in the product, and I recommend those of you looking to pick it up, skip out on it. But something from L'Oreal. Their mascaras are always rather flattering.

Too bad for this one though, it sounded, and looked so cool....that was....until I actually went to use it.
