Angel Tattoos And Their Significance To The Wearer

Angel tattoos have been around since Europeans and Americans have embraced tattooing as a way to express their beliefs and at the same time have a pictorial representation of their inner being. Angel tattoos can be drawn in the many variations that angels have been depicted through out history. The number of different angels is as numerous as the number of ways a tattoo artist can draw them. Either through religious significance or through love of the icon, angel tattoos can express a persons interest in the after life or their fascination with the beauty of the creature.

There is some debate of whether a Christian can represent their beliefs by wearing an angel tattoo. Some denominations translate the Bible as saying that the body is the temple of the Holy Ghost and to defy the temple is to defy God. This catch all phrase gives religious advocates the right to put alcohol, tobacco, gluttony, and now tattoos as defecation to your body and through the body, God. Even angel tattoos and crucifix tattoos are being scrutinized. In contrast, the Catholic Church, especially those of Hispanic background allow all sorts of religious icons, even those that include angel tattoos and the likeness of Christ.

Angel tattoos can take on the opposite persona when used in an anti-religious context. The Hells Angels and the Devils Disciples, two outlaw bike gangs have embraced the angel tattoo in a different way than those who have religious connections. Scantly clad angel tattoos have been drawn that depict angels in their beauty, but also the beauty of their body. Angel tattoos with bare breasts and long flowing hair are accented with their heavenly gifts of extreme beauty and angelic wings have become an art form that has taken a life of its own.

Another take on the angel tattoo is the opposite side of the religious coin. Lucifer was an archangel that defiled Gods word and was cast from heaven. He has angels that followed him and even considered demons; these dark angels have adorned the body art enthusiast as a form of dark beauty and malevolence. The dark angel tattoo may represent a more sinister vampireitic attitude than the angel tattoos of their heavenly counterpart. They should not be considered evil or a bad talisman, but an expression of freedom of thought from the viewpoint of the wearer.

No matter if you wear the angel tattoo to express your belief of God and your belief that angels are protectors and messengers or you wear an angel tattoo because it expresses beauty and just plan good art, the angel tattoo is a strong icon that can represent many things. When judging people who have angel tattoos have an open mind. Though the picture may be dark or sacrilegious to you, the body art enthusiast it may just mean that they liked the picture. Tattoos are powerful symbols. Whether you are trying to portray you funny side with a cartoon character or show that you have a religious preference and belief with an angel tattoo, the symbols are a reflection of the wearers likes and beliefs and should not be judged by appearance alone.

Earlier removal of unwanted hair was a nightmare for most of the women. There were various options for removing the unwanted hair like waxing, sharp razors, dirty smelling hair removal creams and painful electrolysis process but all of them are either very time consuming or painful process.

HAIR GROWTH

Hair is important for every woman but on the other hand every woman wants to get rid of the unwanted hair growth. Basically the hair grows inside a hair bulb deep in the hair follicle. Follicle may be a small part, but for most of the people it hardly stops growing throughout their life. There are three stages of hair growth which are:

. Anagen (the growing phrase)
. catagen (the intermediate phrase)
. Telogen (the shedding phrase)

Anagen: This phrase is also called the growing phrase. In this period the hair follicle grows to about 6 inches in a year. The hair follicles that of eyelashes, arms and legs have a growing stage of only few months, so the hair they produce are short.

Catagen: This is also called the transitional stage, in which the hair follicle becomes smaller as the lower portions of the follicle are absorbed by the body, and ceases to make hair.

Telogen: This is also called the resting stage. After two to three months of resting the hair starts falling. At the end of the resting stage, the old hair falls out, the follicle enlarges, and a new growth cycle starts and a new hair shaft begins to grow.

Five Top Colognes For Teenage Guys

Davidoff Cool Water is a classic aquatic cologne. Like Acqua di Gio and other marine-inspired colognes, Cool Water is a refreshing, sporty cologne. These types of colognes first became popular in the 1990s, but their popularity hasn't waned over the years. Today, sporty aquatic colognes are still the most popular fresh fragrances on the market. Cool Water is an even mix of floral, herbal and green notes. Some of the stand-out notes include lavender, peppermint, orange blossom, oakmoss, sandalwood, amber, and cedar. Though this grouping of notes sounds like a garden cocktail, the overall cologne smells like a fresh mountain spring surrounded by mossy banks.

Paco Rabbane Black XS is a big cologne that packs a load of spice, amber and fruit. While in the 1990s every guy embraced cool marine colognes, at the moment dark, creamy, fruity colognes like Black XS are on the rise. Black XS is one of the stronger, louder colognes in this category. It's a blast of dark spiced cinnamon and raspberries. If you want to tone down the fruit but maintain the spice and warmth, try Ralph Lauren Polo Black which is a great mature alternative to Black XS.

Ed Hardy Love & Luck Man is a mix of marine and fruity notes. This cologne is perfect for guys who love fresh marine fragrances, but want to update their cologne wardrobe. Love & Luck Man begins as a citrus scent, and then later moves into a clean refreshing marine fragrance. In the end, a mix of spiced cardamom, herbal sage and sweet violets creates a crisp, clean fruity accord. This high-energy cologne is perfect for everyday wear.

Diesel's Fuel for Life for Men is a classic cologne for young guys. Fuel for Life is a fusion of citrus, light woods and a touch of anise. That licorice note sets this cologne apart from other woody, citrus colognes. The overall grouping of notes suggests that this cologne is very sweet: anise, grapefruit, raspberry, lavender, and wood. However, this cologne is not so much a sweet fruity scent, as it is a spiced leather-and-wood cologne. Among young guys, Fuel for Life is the go-to cologne for a night out.

Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce is the other well-known woody cologne. In fact, this cologne is the Abercrombie smell that teens know and love. This cologne is sprayed all over the Abercrombie stores to create a college dorm-room vibe. Because many connect this fragrance to the Abercrombie stores, few guys will actually wear this cologne without feeling like a retail location. So a great alternative to this popular sweet, woody cologne is Burberry Brit for Men. This cologne takes Fierce to the next level by incorporating clean spices and herbal notes. Brit for Men is a sophisticated woody colognes that is very popular with young men. But because of its deeper complexity, Burberry Brit is definitely a cut above the rest.

Any colognes pique your interest? Sometimes you can love the sound of a cologne, but not really enjoy it in real life. So in order to find your perfect cologne, give all these hot colognes a test-drive.

Now, let's talk Tree Braids for you this Summer season- in fact, let's talk about Tree Braiding for not only this Summer season alone, but for every Summer to
come! Additionally, let's throw in vacations, trips, and now most importantly, those "don't got much money left to spend on my hair" occasions. So you don't
'got' any satisfaction either, hay!? Well, that's how it usually works, doesn't it? Crappy hairdo always = don't 'got' much love from anybody!

Some Desirable Professional Summer Tree Braiding Services:

1)Tree Braiding for any occasion- including Summer!
2)Tree Braiding to match your facial features for a more complimentary designed style.
3) and more importantly these days, Tree Braiding to match your hair budget.

Not all Tree Braiders offer styles for every occasion, and in fact some do not offer consultations at all- just like the regular African braid shops, these Tree Braiders ask you to 'just come in".

However, this is an anomaly in itself, because African braiders are not often known to be synonymous with custom braid styles.

I just had a lady call us recently. She has already left for her Summer vacation. Nevertheless, she wanted a tree braids style that would compliment how rudely she was going to treat her hair over the vacation period: swimming, and with very little maintenance. Nothing wrong with that- who wants to spend their vacation indoors twiddling with their hair? Hmmhh! Says I. So you want a maintenance free style, Hay? So I hooked her up. She used hair she had purchased from her local beauty supply store.

Time: It takes approximately 3 hours to install.
Duration: lasts approximately 2 months.
Hair used: 2 packs of hair, equivalent of 8 ounces of real human hair.
Volume: More or less hair can be used at no additional cost- I pack of hair or more than the usual 2 packs of hair can be used.
Extended length in back: It takes about 20 extra minutes to extend the hair in the back.
Very thick hair: Add about 40 minutes to finish time. If you have thick hair, your Tree Braids stylist will adjust the style accordingly.

Take a look at flattering Summer Tree Braids: http://www.upalmit.com/treebraidsnyc.html

Additional Marks of a Tree Braids Professional:

A Tree Braids professional braider is always thinking strategy. She will ask you a few questions to determine what will work best for you, what will look best for your hairline (these Tree Braids can be done straight back, and don't have to be done in a Star shape in case there is a problem with receding hairline. In such a case, a technique is used that actually makes it appear that your hairline has hair.

Unfortunately working in a salon is no guarantee that your Tree Braider is a real Tree Braids professional. Again, her work will speak volumes for you. If your Tree Braider knows how to work around hair loss issues, she can help you lessen your stress level in these uncertain times. Just ask a few questions based on the information in this article. If you follow all the above advice you will have hit the Tree Braids professional jackpot!

Selecting The Right Uv Lamp For Curing Gel Nails

Gel nails are of 2 types - those which cure without a UV light (non light gels) and those which cure under a UV light. The best gel nails are considered to be those which can be cured under a light. They finish better, last longer and look better. UV lamps form an integral part of a professional nail salon or spa or even for those individuals who would like to do their nails at home. UV light helps cure gels, acrylics, enamels on your nails to perfection. They prevent the gel or acrylic from cracking up by curing the product on the nail completely.

Keeping the above factors in mind, it is very important to select the right UV lamp to cure your nails for the perfect finish. Available in various models and offered by several manufacturers, you have a wide variety of lamps and bulbs to select from. As a first time purchaser for your salon or spa, you may be confused as to what would be the best lamp to go with your services.

Here are a few tips you can rely on when you go in for your UV lamps purchase:

Check for the manufacturers antecedents a manufacturer who is already offering gel nail products and its related accessories has greater chances of offering you a lamp which is of good quality. They have the reputation of their site to take care of and will not offer shoddy products. You are also likely to get a better bargain on your lamp as part of your gel nail kit. If you are in the US, select a lamp with 110V and if in Europe, get a 220V lamp while shopping on the internet. Otherwise, you may end up with something you cannot use.

Select the appropriate wattage for curing if you order for a lamp with only a 9 watt bulb and hope to achieve curing, think again. It is not advisable for salon use. You have to invest in a lamp with at least 24-36 wattage for the nails to cure. So if you go in for say a 36 watt lamp, you will have to buy 4 bulbs of 9 watts each. There are also bulbs which have wattage of 54, to reduce the curing time. So think wisely, check on the future growth prospects of your business and then invest.

Miscellaneous your purchase considerations should also take into account your budget, the time you want to spend on a client and the image you would like to portray. There are lamps which make your life easy. You can cure both hands in a single sitting. Some lamps can only be used for the feet, some only for the hands and others are built in such a way that they can be used for both the hands and feet. It is your decision on what you would like to invest in. UV lamps also have features like sensors so that you can set the time on for curing with an auto switch off. Tunnel designed lamps make it easy to rest your clients hands on.

It is advisable to do a thorough analysis of the type of lamp you would like to buy and then go ahead. Always remember to use the lamp with care, follow manufacturers instructions, clean and replace bulbs regularly and lastly avoid staring at the UV light to avoid damage to your eyes.

High-cut Boyshorts And Tap Pants - Is Less About Baring

Things are getting cheeky down at your local zentai bodysuit shop. The mood is playful sophistication: soft nude, pinky-bronze and cocoa-coloured retro silks with acres of lace are in; dental-floss thongs and day-glo colours are out. The reference is the fifties, a period today's ubiquitous burlesque movement makes fetishy reference to with corsets, garters and structured, real-woman bras. But now that burlesque is a yoga style (really!) for the grown-up woman, twizzly ta-ta costumes are not a realistic boudoir choice. Nor do most of us want to look like stage performers. Thus, Catsuits Lingerie companies have taken their lead from stage vixen styles, but made them more sophisticated, with a burnished palette and a rich blanket of supersoft lace and embroidery. This isn't, after all, the kind of sexless, seamless, Catsuits Lingerie we've had for the past few years. This is serious gear. Things are cut low, and high, says Erin Williams, the sales and marketing director of Christine Vancouver. "Straight from Paris comes the shorter chemise," she says. "Very cheeky indeed. But sophisticated is the key word: lots of gold with antique lace trim and appliqu. We are seeing eyelash lace, which is a clear play on burlesque." At christinevancouver.com, a brunette, styled to look her burlesque best with lustrous Veronica Lake locks and red lipstick, poses to suit the diva theme. She lounges in a khol lace-trimmed, vintage rose-coloured slip and camisole, or reclines in a gold-coloured chemise, gaze forward, confident and sexy. But for all the retro-inclined covering up, there's no worry that cleavage is going out of style. In fact, Williams says, "if possible, with the lace trims, things are cut lower than ever." Cara Long (stage name: Cara Milk) is the designer and owner of Sweet Soul, a Vancouver-based burlesque-inspired zentai  company. "We blend the spirit of burlesque - the ruffled lace, rhinestones, feathers, tassels and pasties - with the comfort and fit of today's fabrics," she says. Bloomers or full-cut panties, iconic of the burlesque era, are a big seller at Sweet Soul, which can be found in boutiques across Canada (the burlesque craze started in the West and moved east). Among other lines, boycuts (with and without cheek exposure) are paired with camisoles; these "more covered than not" sets are the hot thing this Valentine's, Long says. "Women are empowered by fun pieces; they find their inner diva. This is more about sensual than overtly sexual." Subtle, yet textured, is the order of the day, says Pam Leland of Beneath it All, a boutique in Saskatoon. "The styles come from Europe. There is a progressive feeling to this new, sexy more formal Catsuits Lingerie. Every woman, every age, every size, every shape, deserves to feel she's something special." Coffee, gold and lilac are big sellers at Trs Jolie in North Toronto, owner Nancy Elms says. No wonder. The palette flatters a full range of skin tones - forget those garish fuchsias and bordello reds - and is sympatico with fashion's current and feminine wrap dresses, nipped suit jackets, cashmere cardigans and blouses with plunging dcolletage. "Overt is over." Elms adds. "Covered up is just as sexy." This is not just about twentysomething fashion types loving retro. Women of a certain age get it. And they love it. And thanks to Teri Hatcher and the sexy cast of Desperate Housewives, plus a host of 40-and-over Hollywood hotties such as Halle Barry (40 this year), Virginia Madsen and Catherine Keener, women are embracing their bodacious boomerhood. The demographic at the two Underworld boutiques in Montreal skews 45 to 55, owner Diane Chicoine says. "It's a lady store. Lace, ribbons. The look is grown-up. You can wear it under a suit to the office. There is nothing dclass." Enter that stretch-lace, low-rise boycut, the most flattering fit for the less than perfect bod. It has clearly supplanted the thong. "Thongs became more important about two years ago, now there's a greater interest in higher-waisted and boycut styles," says Eve Grenier, of C.J. Grenier in Montreal, a maker of fine women's underwear since 1860. "It got to be around 50 per cent of sales. Now, sales are about 30 per cent thongs," she says. Grenier says there has been a huge increase in demand in the past six months for "feminine pieces." Novelty items like garters and even pasties see a bump at Christmas, Valentine's and even Mother's Day. The trend is about adding lace, "adding joy and fun, to everyday." And who would have thought that the corset, that waist-sucker that gave Scarlett O'Hara her fabled 18-inch span, would still be around? "The corset is a particularly amusing contradiction," she says. "Women wear them with jeans." Unlike garters, which are still a secret thrill, corsets are now mainstream. "They are a little something spider man costume for women of any age," Grenier says. "It is fun, and it makes you feel more confident. It is a wink at the world. And now we make them in real sizes," she says."There is no pain and suffering. Catsuits Lingerie is now about pleasure."

Eye Lash Growing Mascara

Grooming Of Men's Eyebrow

How to groom mens eyebrows?

Well, it doesnt mean to remove a lot of hair and shape them like women, creating high or dramatic arches. A simple tune-up will make them look more groomed. Sometimes, all it takes is trimming the brows or taking a couple hairs here and there. Different rules apply for men than women when taming the brows.

Eyebrow Waxing

Unless you have very sensitive skin, waxing is a quick and relatively easy alternative to plucking your eyebrows and it can last weeks. Although it is generally best to get eyebrows waxed professionally, it can be expensive up to around $ 15 as a general rule, although salons do differ.

Eyebrow Threading

In Great Britain men now make up 40% of the visitors to its brow bars, double the proportion of a year ago. They are going for a treatment called threading, an ancient method of hair removal which originated in India in which a thin twine of cotton thread is rolled over the offending area, plucking the hair from the follicle level. Unlike plucking, threading removes an entire row of hair at a time so is quicker, more accurate and less painful. British men come for threading either in a bid to look good for a job interview, or to make happy their fiances, as part of the wedding preparations.

Eyebrow volumizer

Any volume we add to our hair can make it look thicker. For hair on our head we add gel or mousse to help add body. Coating brow hair makes it look up to 1 times thicker. This in turn makes you look like you have a lot more volume. A liquid can shine, go on in globs or smudge. A very fine dry powder with a high colour payout coats hairs individually. It does not glisten, run or smudge, not even in the rain or swimming.

A typical feminie shape

Note the tapered delicate finish on the Tail, the high arch, and the thin shape.

A typical masculine shape

Note the flat shape, the blunt tail, the full strong brow.

The common mens eyebrow shapes:

Grooming by beeswax

When our brows are not doing what we want and its making us mad, one of the products we can use, is old-fashioned moustache wax which we can buy at the chemist. The main ingredient is beeswax. Its cheap and will hold brows all day, though its dense, so we can only use a trace and we have to brush through it.

Eyebrow Mascara

You may have well-defined lashes, but bad brows can ruin your entire look. Brow problems can range from thin or bushy brows to more pronounced ones like uneven colour, uneven arch, or even a complete lack of brows. Most problems can be corrected with an eyebrow pencil, but if you want really convincing results, eyebrow mascara is necessary to have!

What is eyebrow mascara?

An eyebrow mascara helps enhance the shape, colour, and texture of your eyebrows; it works much like a lash mascara, except that an eyebrow mascara is thicker and heavier to prevent dripping. Some eyebrow mascaras come in the same tube and wand containers, but comb applicators are becoming more common because they are easier to use.

What's the difference in using eyebrow mascara?

While some mascara can be used on both brows and lashes, there are some subtle differences between the two. Colour is more important in an eyebrow mascara, whereas a lash mascara is designed more for enhancement and shape. An eyebrow mascara can also be used to draw the brows themselves, so they are more fade-resistant. Eyebrow mascaras also rarely has gloss since gloss doesn't necessarily make brows more attractive.

Who needs eyebrow mascara?

Some people have naturally thin eyebrows and need an eyebrow mascara to make them look thicker. Others have cut-off or nonexistent brows due to accidents or medical conditions. In this case, an eyebrow mascara can be used to draw or extend the brows themselves. For most people, however, an eyebrow mascara is mostly for enhancing the brow colour and shape and, using the comb applicator, for arranging the strands for a neater and cleaner look around the eye areas.

What makes a good eyebrow mascara?

Eyebrow mascara should always be evenly coloured and drip-proof. For a more natural look, make sure the colour matches the shade of your hair. If you have sensitive skin or hair, choose hypoallergenic eyebrow mascaras to avoid any adverse reactions. There are existing also colourless mascaras which are good just for keeping the brows in wanted shape. We can buy them in the cosmetics area of any department store.

Why Use An Electric Shaver?

There is an increasingly large percentage of people that are now switching over to using electric shavers rather than the old straight edge the question is why? Both men and women are opting for electric shavers and for many reasons.

First is convenience let us be honest applying shaving cream, then shaving and then applying some type of after shave takes time. It also costs a far bit of money having all of these products in our house. I for one cannot understand why disposable shavers cost so much money, a 5 pack of my favorite brand is now , wow. The shaving cream and the after shave assuming you don't buy some fancy designer brand is going to be relatively cheap, but the razors really do knock things out of the park.

Now buying an electric shaver does have its upfront costs but most good units clean and sharpen automatically so you do save money down the road. I think the main reason for using an electric razor is for those of us that have any time of skin condition. Whether you are shaving your legs and constantly get ingrown hairs, have acne or are just plain sensitive to a straight razor.

I know many people that have these types of skin conditions and once they started using an electric razor these skin issues started to dramatically improve. When I was a teenager I did have quite a few pimples and using a straight razor caused all kinds of problems. First it hurt and the worst part was the razor would cause the pimples to bleed and make them even more of an eye soar.

My wife loves her electric shaver that can be used in the shower, she was always complaining about ingrown hairs and small rashes that would appear from using a straight razor. Now whether it be her under arm or her legs she doesn't have any of these issues anymore.

The other reason I like using an electric razor has to do with quick convenience. Sometimes you forget to shave and just before you head out for a meeting or a social get together you can quickly shave without having to get your face wet. I can't tell you how many times I have been running late and as I am leaving my wife reminds me that I need to shave.

An electric shaver isn't for everyone, there are however more reasons than ever to start using one. Cost, convenience and they are easier on your skin. Who knows maybe you will be using one sooner than later.

TRANQUIL WHITE TEA COMPLEX

Beating The Heat With Lace Wigs

The spring and summer seasons are great times to show off your perfect coif. Unfortunately, many women have trouble with handling their hair in the hot and humid weather. Wearing a lace wig in the heat may seem like a bad idea but if done right, you can stay cool and comfortable while looking great all year round.

Benefits

Before getting into advice, lets begin with the reason why. Wearing a lace wig in the summer has an actual purpose outside of looking fabulous. Severe weather conditions such as heat, sunlight and air pollutants can cause hair damage.

The heat is so drying that by wearing a lace wig in the summer, you are actually protecting it. Avoiding heat styling, blow drying and consistent brushing on dry ends will help hair growth and health.

Cap Type

The type of cap for your lace wig is very important to remaining cool in warm weather. Lace caps such as French and Swiss lace are very good for ventilation. Swiss lace is the finest of lace so will breathe the most. While these two cap types are the most common, there are new options that have wonderful results.

Silk top lace wigs which are also known as injection silk based lace consists of one layer of lace and another layer of silk. Between the two layers are the knots of the hair strands to hide unbleached and unnatural looking knots. The silk material combined with the lace provides a lighter lace wig that has maximum breathability for the scalp.

Hair Type

Many women are torn between synthetic and human hair lace wigs. While human hair is more natural in appearance, it is more expensive. Women who worry more about affordability typically purchase synthetic hair but want the added styling options of human hair. As far as beating the heat is concerned, both have their pros and cons.

Human hair lace wigs initially feel more lightweight and have a lot of ventilation. Unfortunately, since human hair can require styling at times the heat styling tools in summer months can damage the hair. Damaged human hair can cause shedding which is detrimental to your own natural hair. If shedding is not repaired on the human hair lace wig, it can expose your own hair to harsh sunlight and heat damage.

Synthetic hair is great since the styles remain longer than human hair. The issue with synthetic hair is that these lace wigs often have a lot more hair which can block air from getting to the scalp. In addition, lower quality synthetic hair can attract more heat from the plastic material.

Color Choice

Color choice is a simple way to beat the heat while wearing your lace wig. As we all learned in grade school, darker colors attract heat. Wearing black, off black, and very dark shades of brown as hair colors can retain a lot of heat causing an uncomfortable feeling.

The simple solution is to wear lighter colors during the warmer months. Do not fret; you do not have to go bleach blonde to stay cool. Lighter browns and honey blondes are great base colors and if you are not as daring, just have lighter shades as highlights to offset darker colors.

Maintenance

Obviously, a certain level of discomfort is associated with being hot. Some people complain about itching scalp or breakouts from sweat at the lace wig hairline. This may seem like a heat issue but it is really an issue of hair care.

Sweat and dirt build up very easily when hot. This buildup is what causes that itchy feeling on the scalp. In the summer time, regular washing and conditioning is extremely important. Make sure to clean the hairline of the lace wig very well so that dirt is cleared away to prevent breakouts and dirty lace.

By following these tips, you will not have to compromise during the summer months. Remain gorgeous while feeling cool all summer long in your lace wig.

Electrolysis Hair Removal

Electrolysis is one of the hottest methods of hair removal. It has many advantages over the laser hair removal system. Undesired hair growth as on ladies upper lip and arms is usually caused as a result of hereditary reasons or due to hormonal levels and also by certain drugs and conditions. There are several techniques available to remove unwanted hair like waxing, bleaching as well as laser removal. Electrolysis might be possibly the only lasting one and the safest. It has fewer side effects as well.

Some people who do not find laser techniques suitable for them opt for electrolysis hair removal. Electrolysis is especially great for darker skinned people with grey or blond hair as different techniques are not so effective for them.

The electrolysis procedure for removing undesired hair was first used in 1875 by an ophthalmologist named Dr. Charles E. Michael on a individual to remove an ingrown eye lash. Since, this process has been modified to get rid of unwanted hair from any part of the body.

To perform electrolysis, a specialized needle known as an epilator is used to direct short wave radio wavelengths or electro chemical currents or both into an individual hair follicle at a time and in accordance with its depth, thickness and direction of growth. The current destroys the follicle that is the growth centre of the hair attacking the dermal papilla. Hence hair can't ever grow back again. A specific probe is used next to pierce the follicle and the hair is pulled out using forceps without causing any pain to the person.

Electrolysis is known to be a everlasting method of hair removal. The Food and Drug Administration and the American Medical Association recognize only electrolysis as a permanent method of hair removal. It has little side effect typically. Contrary to the usual worry of discomfort we have associated to electrolysis sessions, there is only a prickling discomfort at most in electrolysis and no blood loss whatsoever. Even that can be prevented with topical anesthesia.

Besides the permanence aspect, electrolysis can be a better and safer choice than many other techniques like bleaching and waxing which may cause irritation, agony and even lasting discoloration of skin which is not true using electrolysis. Even laser system is more restricted than electrolysis. Laser treatment is restricted to only light skinned individuals with dark hair as laser operates by targeting and destroying pigment it can burn people with dark skin and not give the complete results in the case of people with light unwanted hair.

Electrolysis is a lengthy process though. It is typically completed in repeated sessions as only growing hair is targeted and hair does not grow all together at a similar rate. One may need between 15 to 30 sessions. It is also costly. A 30 minute session can cost$ 45.

But even then it is the most preferred method for as discussed above it is permanent, safe and less painful than most techniques and there is no fear of skin damage or discoloration from chemicals.
